“In a challenging economy, and at a time when Sacramento has over a 10% unemployment rate, I am encouraged by Secretary Solis’ commitment to labor and investing in worker training. Now more than ever job training programs operated at the local level with federal funding are key to our economic recovery. Secretary Solis’ commitment to America’s working families is second to none, and I look forward to a strong partnership between her and Sacramento’s labor community in the years to come.”
