Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-CA) released the following statement on the Federal Communications Commission’s net neutrality vote:
“This vote rolls back the net neutrality protections that have driven innovation in our digital economy and undermines the ability of Americans to access the online content they choose. Consumers, small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs rely on a free and open internet to compete.
“After today’s vote, I will continue to fight in Congress for strong net neutrality protections backed by clear and certain rules of the road. I am committed to ensuring the internet remains an open platform for free expression and innovation based on the strong net neutrality protections that Americans have demanded.”
