Congresswoman Matsui Announces Kyle Victor as Chief of Staff
Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-CA) announced that she has named Kyle Victor as her new Chief of Staff. Victor returns to the Congresswoman’s office after serving as Director of Public Policy at VMware, Inc., a Palo Alto, CA based leading software technology company. He previously served in Congresswoman Matsui’s office for eight years, including as her Legislative Director from 2011 through 2015.

His institutional knowledge, policy expertise, and management experience will be invaluable as we continue to advance a wide-range of policy issues on the Energy & Commerce Committee. Kyle also has extensive experience handling many of the central issues facing the Sacramento region, from flood protection to transportation. I’m looking forward to having him back to lead our team.”
Victor started his political career in the office of Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) where he worked from 2002 to 2007 as Legislative Aide. Victor graduated from Whittier College in California in 2002 with a B.A. in Business Administration and Finance.
Victor replaces Julie Eddy Rokala, who served as the Congresswoman’s Chief of Staff for 11 years.
Congresswoman Doris Matsui represents the 6th District of California, which encompasses the city of Sacramento and its surrounding areas. As a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, she serves on the Health, Communications & Technology, Environment, and Digital Commerce & Consumer Protection subcommittees. She is also Co-Chair of the bipartisan Congressional High Tech Caucus, the Spectrum Caucus, and the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC).
