Congresswoman Matsui Statement on the Tragic Shooting at Washington DC’s Navy Yard Building
Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-06) released the following statement on the tragic shooting at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC:
“My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and the families who have been affected by the senseless act of violence today in Washington, DC. This morning’s tragedy has no place in our society, and I join the nation in mourning the loss of innocent lives.
“There are still many questions to be answered about this morning’s shooting. As we come together to support those impacted by this tragedy, action must be taken to prevent future acts of gun violence, and this senseless loss of life.”
