Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-CA) issued the following statement on the spillway at Oroville Dam:
“I am in contact with state and local authorities regarding the developing situation at Oroville, and have been assured that Sacramento and West Sacramento are not in danger. I will continue to monitor developments closely — I urge all residents to do the same and to familiarize themselves with local emergency information and resources.”
