Matsui Statement on Samsung and Verizon Partnership to Bring 5G to Sacramento

Washington, D.C. Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-CA) issued the following statement on the announcement that Verizon will be partnering with Samsung to deliver 5G to Sacramento:
"This announcement marks continued progress in our work to bring 5G broadband access to Sacramento. The digital economy requires that all consumers have access to next generation technology, which is why the integration of 5G commercial services at the local level is so important. Facilitating the deployment of broadband infrastructure will continue to be one of my top priorities moving forward as we shape our economic future."
