Congresswoman Doris O. Matsui (D-Sacramento) will hold a second Telephone Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 7:00pm PST to continue her on-going discussion with constituents regarding H.R. 3200, the America's Affordable Health Choices Act.

Congresswoman Doris Matsui to Host Health Care Telephone Town Hall On Thursday, September 17th

To participate in the Telephone Town Hall, constituents may sign up by visiting http://matsui.house.gov, clicking here, or by calling Rep. Matsui's Sacramento office at (916) 498-5600. Constituents who sign up for the Telephone Town Hall will then be contacted on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the phone number they provide, and automatically connected to the meeting. This format will allow for an unlimited amount of Sacramentans to take part in the health reform conversation with Rep. Matsui.

Congresswoman Matsui previously held a telephone town hall to listen to her constituents' thoughts and opinions on H.R. 3200, and drew over 11,000 participants. During this first session, Rep. Matsui answered questions posed to her live from over 20 Sacramentans. Referring to this first telephone town hall meeting, Rep. Matsui said, "I appreciate the widespread engagement from Sacramentans on this issue, and I look forward to joining everyone again for another productive discussion.
