Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-Sacramento) announced that U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke will address the Sacramento Metro Chamber on May 9th during their annual Cap-to-Cap program to Washington, D.C. Secretary Locke will speak to the Sacramento delegation about the economy, strategic investments, and job growth.
I am thrilled that Secretary Locke has accepted my invitation to speak to the Sacramento Metro Chamber during their visit, said Congresswoman Matsui. As our region's economy continues to recover, it is essential that we work together to develop a long-term vision for the future and for sustained growth. Secretary Locke is a good friend who possesses knowledge of Sacramento and will be a great resource for the delegation.
