Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-05) issued the following statement in regards to Speaker Nancy Pelosi's announcement that she will run for Minority Leader in the 112th Congress:

I am pleased to support my friend Nancy Pelosi for Minority Leader during the 112th Congress. Over her tenure as Speaker of the House, Nancy has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to hard-working American families.

Nancy's leadership is also an important asset for the people of California and has never wavered in her commitment to delivering for Californians.
