Congresswoman Matsui, Appointed as a Conferee to Energy Package, to Speak at Conference Meeting

Tomorrow, September 8th, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-CA) will join House and Senate conferees on the Energy Policy Modernization Act of 2016, to outline House Democratic priorities for comprehensive energy legislation. Congresswoman Matsui will discuss her priorities, including:

- A reduction in our carbon footprint and an adequate response to climate change

- Investments in the resiliency of our energy infrastructure and clean energy future

- Energy policies that provide direct economic benefits to consumers

- Improvements in energy efficiency

- Reauthorization of the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA)
