Congresswoman Matsui Statement on President Obama's Net Neutrality Statement

Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-06) issued the following comment on President Obama's statement on net neutrality:

"I applaud the President for calling on the FCC to explicitly ban so-called Internet fast lanes or paid prioritization deals. We must ensure that there are no tolls, gatekeepers, or a two-tiered Internet system in this country. By prohibiting paid prioritization agreements from entering the Internet ecosystem, the FCC and the Administration would demonstrate their leadership and commitment to preserving a truly free and open Internet for all Americans."
