Congresswoman Matsui Statement on Tragic Shootings in Sacramento and Placer Counties

CA - Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-06) issued the following statement after tragic gun violence claimed the lives of two Sheriff deputies and injured two others:

"Today our entire region was stricken by violence that tragically claimed the lives of two Sheriff deputies and injured others, including an innocent civilian. My thoughts and prayers are with their families, colleagues and loved ones this evening. I hope they will take some solace in knowing that our entire community mourns with them and prays for them. Our region is strong and stands with them."
