Matsui Joins 149 House Democrats to Introduce a Resolution to Reinstate Clear Net Neutrality Rules

February 27, 2018

Washington, D.C. Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-CA) joined 149 House Democrats on a resolution of disapproval, which would overturn recent efforts to rollback net neutrality rules. A similar Resolution has 50 supporters in the Senate.

"The time is now for us to take action and preserve the free and open internet," said Congresswoman Matsui. "Businesses, consumers, and students depend on strong net neutrality protections to innovate and create. I'm calling on my colleagues in Congress to join us in support of this resolution, which would ensure there are strong rules of the road in place to protect the future of the internet."
