Matsui Statement on the Passing of Pat Henning

SACRAMENTO, CA. – Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-06) issued the following statement after the passing of Pat Henning, dedicated public servant and community leader across the state of California.

 “Our community has lost one of its most tireless champions who dedicated his career to improving the lives of millions of working people across our state,” said Congresswoman Matsui. “Few have had as profound and as positive an impact on the lives of working Californians as Pat Henning. Pat stood up and spoke out for policies that remain central to the ability of workers and their families to thrive in California, and his legacy will continue to live on in the success of all those he championed. While he will be remembered for the immense impact of his career, I will always remember his kind heart and love for the community. My prayers are with the Henning family during this difficult time. Pat will truly be missed.”
