Matsui Statement on the Passing on San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee

Washington, D.C. Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-CA) issued the following statement on the passing of San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee:

"I'm deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Mayor Ed Lee. Throughout his life as an advocate and a leader, Mayor Lee was a steadfast defender of, and a tireless fighter for, his principles. He embodied the values that Californians hold dear. I'm sending my thoughts and prayers to his family during this difficult time."
