Matsui Statement on Short-Term Spending Bill

Washington Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-06) issued the following statement on the latest Continuing Resolution proposal to fund the government until February 15th:

"President Trump held our government hostage for far too long. We must pass this short-term spending bill immediately to get 800,000 federal employees back to work and paid. This simply cannot be repeated. We must come together to strike a commonsense deal that funds the government through 2019 while working on smart and effective border security measures."
