SACRAMENTO, CA – Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-07), Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, announced over $1.86 billion in federal funding for California broadband infrastructure. The funding comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program, which represents the single-largest federal government effort to expand digital connectivity across the United States.

Slaughter Gender Equity in Education Act (GEEA), legislation that would provide additional resources, training, and technical assistance through the U.S. Department of Education to combat gender-based harassment and discrimination in education.
