Washington, D.C.Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-CA) delivered the following remarks on the House Floor during consideration of H.R. 4986, RAY BAUM's Act of 2018, which includes several pieces of legislation co-authored by Congresswoman Matsui. H.R. 4986 reauthorizes the FCC for the first time in 28 years:

I am pleased that today we are reauthorizing the Federal Communications Commission, the RAY BAUM Act, which among other things ensures our local broadcasters have the resources they need and will deliver additional spectrum into the commercial marketplace.
