Ms. Solorzano is a junior at Florin High School in Sacramento, Calif. Citing the West Coast salmon crisis, the drought, and the Bush Administration's failed record in protecting the health of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, five Democratic members of Congress today strongly cautioned Administration officials against weakening protections for California's Bay-Delta region and asked for detailed information about how federal agencies plan to make the latest Delta rescue effort successful.
