Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-Sacramento) announced the Department of Homeland Security has awarded the Sacramento Region more than $4 million for the emergency management and anti-terrorism activities through the Homeland Security Grant Programs. The City will receive $3,947,286 through the Urban Areas Security Initiatives (UASI) program.

Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D - Sacramento) joined her colleagues in passing the Consolidated Appropriations Act, H.R. 3288. This bill will provide Sacramento projects and programs with $40,055,000 in funding through Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 from the federal government.
